Develop your skills

and grow your business sustainably

Why join deK?

Our unique collaboration between Goldsmiths, University of London; London South Bank University and Lewisham Council, is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Our academic partners are industry leaders and our workshops have been specifically designed to help businesses build their knowledge in key areas for success and growth.

We’re offering young and growing London businesses the chance to access free expert advice, practical support to help them move to the next stage.

If you’re in the first years of trading and you’re ready to move to the next level, we can help you to develop the skills and knowledge needed for success.

Our highly experienced business and industry advisors are there to guide you through a series of practical events from improving your digital offering to problem-solving and refining your business strategy.

We are creating a business network and community for our members, connecting like-minded businesses to provide opportunities to collaborate with and learn alongside others. Your first step is to meet with a business advisor who will evaluate your business needs and suggest options from a wide range of workshops and flexible mentoring programmes.

Programme Structure

Once accepted on to the programme you must participate in 12 hours of support. This can be via a single bootcamp or a combination of shorter events.

Having reached 12 hours of participation you are eligible to apply for further support:

  • Dedicated Mentoring is available to businesses who are at the growth stage and are looking to build their workforce or develop new products or services.

  • Student Consultancy provides an LSBU student to a business to assist with a specific issue. The student's salary is paid for and their contribution monitored by an academic supervisor.
