Self-employment for many is like making a leap from primary school to University without passing go.
For those who have been working in a large company, there were accountants to do finance, human resources to help with people issues, sales to sell your product and now there is you with a phone and a laptop.
This is a session where you can discuss your issues and concerns and with the help of others, we can explore ways to manage them.
Topics that will be covered includes:
- getting started in the morning
- switching off at the end of the day
- The dangers of day time television and people expecting you to sort out their problems during the day.
- We will consider the importance of cash flow and how to structure your work including the peaks and troughs experienced by many small businesses.
Prepared and Delivered by:
Andrew has a first degree in business studies, an MBA from Henley Management College, the Diploma of the Institute of Marketing and following the Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education completed a Masters of Arts in Education in 2014.
Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in strategy and marketing over a range of industries, including - food, public sector and automotive. He has run his own consultancy and worked with major brands, the Cabinet Office, Police, and Charities, including English Heritage.
