About The Event

The biggest and best brands have excellent digital marketing strategies and so standing out in the 'always on' world of social media can be difficult for smaller businesses. This workshop aims to make it easy for you to understand the social media marketing techniques and to implement them in a cost effective way. You'll learn how to maximise your brand or product's impact across platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Youtube and more. You'll find out how to link your campaigns, identify and deliver content to new audiences and develop a brand that will get you noticed.

Tutor Biography

Hung Nguyen has an MA in Digital Media: Technology & Cultural Form and has a wealth of experience creating and implementing digital content strategy that has attracted tens of millions of audience members across BBC websites, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels. He has trained hundreds of BBC staff including many from BBC Radio 4 news programmes and seven different international bureaus in Kenya, Nigeria, India, Indonesia, Nepal, South Korea and Thailand.

At Goldsmiths, as Lecturer in Digital Journalism, Hung teaches both BA and MA students to create viral content for online and social media; he also shows students how to embrace their smartphone to produce multimedia content for websites and social channels.
