PEST and SWOT analysis of your business in the current climate

In this interactive bite-sized session, you will be able to evaluate and analyse the key issues prevailing in your marketing environment, specifically the political, economic, social and technological factors that might have an impact on the success of your business.

Facilitator: Michael Bedward

Michael Bedward, is a Lecturer in Innovation, Enterprise, and Entrepreneurship and Course Director for the Chartered Manager and Associate Project Manager Apprenticeships, London South Bank University, Business School

He is Module Leader for the Creativity, Enterprise and Innovation module which is a core module within the Business School’s post-graduate framework.

Since his appointment as a Lecturer in Innovation, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, in January 2018, Michael has taught across the full spectrum of Business School modules, leading to the delivery of modules on Innovation and Enterprise, Entrepreneurial Mind-set: Business Discovery and Development and Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Management.

Michael led on the successful Small Business Charter re-accreditation of the Business School.

Prior to his academic career, Michael worked as an Independent Creative Industries Business Consultant; as a Business Support Manager for the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA); as a Development Executive (Digital Media), for East Midlands Media Investment (EMMI) in Nottingham and as a Television and Radio Producer and Project Manager for the BBC in London.

He has been awarded an MBA and he also holds Post-graduate degrees in Academic Practice in Higher Education, Learning and Teaching, Online Tutoring, Communications Policy, and Regulation and Multimedia Management.
